It's been a very long week for those in Boston... We would like to send our thoughts and prayers out to those that have been seriously injured and to the families of those killed in the attacks. To those that lost their lives...May angels lead you in. To those that have been injured - we wish you a speedy recovery. To the First Responders; Police Officers, Fireman, Paramedics, and other Government Agencies - we thank you for your services. In a time of hurt and wrecklessness - you all have pulled together and caught the menace behind these cruel and careless acts. |

We'd like to report that some exciting things have been happening around our funeral home. 1. We've joined the Blair County Chamber of Commerce and we are very excited about the new faces we will meet and what the future will hold with all of the exciting opportunities this will bring us. 2. We've also just celebrated our 100th year anniversary! The Altoona Mirror has interviewed us and we hope everyone sees our article, Sunday, December 30th, so they can see what our business is truly about! |

Good evening everyone, On July 5th we received an anonymous contact form asking why you cannot view pending funerals/services on the website. We will not release any information until the family makes their final arrangements. Then, the Altoona Mirror will print the obituary notifying the public when these services will be held. If you do not receive the newspaper, or do not have access to the internet - you may call us and we will answer your questions if the arrangements are final. |
